Bart Starr

Born in Montgomery, Ala., Bart was a high school All-American quarterback at Sidney Lanier High, a four-year letterman at the University of Alabama, and a 17th draft pick by the Green Bay Packers in 1956. Midway in the 1959 season, Starr became Coach Vince Lombardi's starting quarterback. The Packers dominated in '61, '62, '65, '66 and '67 under his leadership. He played 15 years and was Green Bay's head coach from 1975 to 1983.
