Huntsville mountain bikers and members of SORBA (Southern Off Road Bicycle Association) maintain many miles of trails at the beautiful Monte Sano State Park, ranging from 1 mile gravel-paved family routes, to extremely technical mountaintop trails.

Birmingham area mountain biking features a very popular 17-mile trail at Oak Mountain State Park. Around there folks just call it the "red trail."

Around Mobile and the Florida Panhandle, check out the Gasline trail for a 10-12 mile loop. If you thought Baldwin County was flat, try riding up some of these hills!
