Robert Schuffert is a published, award-winning photographer who has pursued landscape photography since the mid 1960s. His photographs have been selected for magazine covers and articles and have won numerous photographic competitions.

A Huntsville resident for over 20 years, Schuffert's photographic expeditions have taken him throughout Alabama and the U.S. in pursuit of his craft. These expeditions not only include popular locales, such as state and national parks, but also many less-traveled back roads and trails, where exquisite native scenery is a well-kept secret.

His most recent project, Scenic North Alabama, a 204-page, full-color travel guide, is a Schuffert portfolio of over 100 breathtaking sites in Alabama's northern half. He relishes discovering and imaging nature's uniqueness and tranquility.
