Wild South and Warrior Mountains Trading Post, Moulton
Lamar Marshall lives and breathes the outdoors. He lives in the Bankhead National Forest at the Sipsey Wilderness and operates the Warrior Mountains Trading Company and Indian Museum in Moulton. He enjoys sharing his outdoor adventures with others on guided eco-history field trips into the national forests of Alabama. He has explored northern woods and lake country regions at home and abroad, walked most of the designated wilderness sections of the Rocky Mountains, and canoed the many swamps and deltas of the southeastern coast. Marshall has presented hundreds of programs on conservation and has taught several courses, including homesteading and organic gardening to high school and college students. He is the author of Wild South magazine and founder of the organization by the same name. Wild South is a forest protection organization whose mission is to inspire individuals and groups to preserve, restore, and enjoy the native ecosystems, biodiversity and cultural heritage of the South.
