Grady Hartzog

His resume reads like the "Who's Who" of outdoor preservation and conservation at local, state and national levels. Grady Hartzog serves on the board of Forever Wild. He assisted the organization in its first acquisition of privately held land as well as assisted with the construction of the nature center on the Wehle Tract. Through his involvement with Ducks Unlimited, Inc., of which he is a benefactor member and sits on the national Conservation Programs Committee, he was instrumental in obtaining grants for the Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge and Forever Wild. In addition, Hartzog serves on the executive board and is a life member of the Alabama Wildlife Federation. He received the Governor's Wildlife Conservationist Award in 2002. He is also a board member of the Alabama Forest Resources Center and a member of the Alabama Wildlife Society, Wild Turkey Federation, and Weeks Bay Foundation, all in addition to serving as the head of the Eufaula/Barbour County Tourism Council of Alabama.
