Fry ham in a skillet until brown; remove ham and let the grease get hot. Mix 1 tablespoon of instant coffee in 1/2 cup cold water. Pour the grease into a bowl. Pour the coffee (dissolved in water) into the hot skillet. Stir, then pour the bowl of grease back into the skillet. |
