Huntsville Convention Facilities

Von Braun Center
The Von Braun Center features more than 170,000 square feet of flexible meeting and exhibit space. Its arena has 6,000 permanent seats. The convention center overlooks Big Spring International Park in downtown Huntsville. The adjacent Embassy Suites Hotel has 295 guest rooms and suites. Nearby is Holiday Inn Downtown with 270 rooms.

Huntsville developed the rockets that launched America's first satellite and carried Apollo astronauts to the Moon. The Space Shuttle's propulsion system was developed here. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center, the earth's largest space museum, is a popular convention venue. The Davidson Center for Space Exploration houses the nation's original Saturn V moon rocket. Some 1,500 can be accommodated at a banquet there.
