Panoply Arts Festival, 29th Annual

The arts come alive through music, dance, theater, and visual art demos, performances, and interactive activities at the Panoply Arts Festival, presented by Boeing, the last full weekend in April (April 24-26, 2009) in Big Spring International Park. Free hands-on arts activities unleash your child’s inner artistisic abilities, while the Art Marketplace is the perfect arena to enhance – or launch – your own collection. A cornucopia of national, regional, and local talent burst upon five performing stages...and the food is exceptional! Returning are the Official Alabama State Fiddling Championship, the Global Village (a doorway to our area’s diverse international culture), and competitions in “homegrown” talent, choreography, photography, and 10-Minute Playwriting. Children 12 and under are FREE. Panopasses are $5 (daily) or $10 (weekend). Join us for the Region’s Most All-Embracing ARTStravaganza!
