2010 Heroes Take Flight Fly-in, 7th Annual

Attractions include vintage and experimental airplanes; warbirds and military vehicles; parachutists; helicopter rides; veterans' hospitality area; and other activities for the whole family. Tickets are $5 in advance, sold by local retailers to be announced at a later date, or $8 at the gate. Children are $2. All veterans who pre-register by January 30, 2009, will receive free entry and a special gift. There will also be a dinner and auction on Friday, March 13, 2009, in the airport hangar with all proceeds, including ticket sales, benefiting the Lee County Red Cross. Proceeds go to support services that include disaster education and relief; services to armed forces; blood collection; and health and safety education.
