If diving and snorkeling are your hobbies, then Alabama has some great locations to practice your art. The Gulf Coast along our southern border offers a variety of places to take a dip in the ocean. Whether you are exploring the bottom of the Gulf or simply enjoying the natural marine-life, you will find an adventure!

For a truly unique experience, you can visit Madison Aquatic Park, one of the finest inland scuba parks in the South. Instructors demonstrate proper snorkeling and diving techniques before letting visitors survey the underwater quarry that features mock ups of the original space station and a full-size minuteman missile.
